- Encourages ITU to continue the Blockchain Secure Authentication (BSA) application challenge,
fostering the adoption of BSA authentication and nurturing the requisite skills for its
deployment, thereby showcasing resilient authentication protocols rooted in blockchain
technology.
- Emphasizes the significance of honouring individuals and cities that have achieved noteworthy
milestones in advancing smart and sustainable initiatives, underscoring the need for widespread
celebration to inspire further progress.
- Urges ITU to support the activities of the United for Smart Sustainable Cities (U4SSC), particularly
in facilitating the implementation of the U4SSC Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
(Recommendation ITU-T Y.4903), recognizing the ongoing importance of acknowledging and
celebrating cities that have successfully embraced the U4SSC KPI programme.
- Reminds that challenges and ceremonial events serve as vital platforms for showcasing the
successful application of emerging digital technologies, advocating for continued recognition and
celebration of innovative achievements.
