Multilingual Interactive Remote Participation (INTERPREFY)

• Internet connection :  recommended bandwidth of 4mbps up/down or higher.
• Recommended browsers: Google Chrome (latest version), Microsoft Edge (v80+)
  
• Firewall: network ports TCP 443 and UDP 3478 must be opened.
  
• Other supported browsers and App, Firefox, Interprefy desktop App​
  
• ​Tablet and mobile devices: not supported.
• Headset and webcam : especially during interventions. The use of a headset avoids echoing issues.
  
• Optimal participation conditions : be in a quiet environment without background noises, with good lighting. Keep your microphone muted until it is your turn to speak.

2.  Log in with your ITU Users or TIES account

• ​Fill-in your ITU user account/TIES login, password
• Click on “Sign in"
  

3. Virtual Sessions dashboard​

• You now should have an overview of all the virtual meetings you have registered for.
• Please note the virtual room is accessible only 1 hour prior to the scheduled start of the event.
• Once the Virtual Room is “Open", you may click on this link to enter the virtual room.​
  

4. Click “Submit” 

• ​Do not tick “I am a Chairperson" ,even if you are chairing the meeting.

This is for the Remote Participation Moderator from the ITU Information Service unit.

1. ​Select the audio channel you would ike to follow. 

- Select "SRC, Source" to listen to the floor and when interpretation is not supported. Do not choose "None".

- Select any of the other available languages when interpretation is supported.

2. Click on "Connect" to to apply your audio channel of choice and connect to the audio & video streaming.

3. You can change the video panel display by:

- clicking on the video panel you would like to focus on.

- clicking on the video panel to increase its size.

- clicking on the enlarge icon to increase the video panel to full screen.

4. When available, you can customize the captioning.

- Select the settings of the captioning.

- For visual comfort, you can gain more captioning space by clicking on "Show/Hide header."

​In case of restricted meetings, only the delegates who are registered for the meeting will have online access approval.

On the other hand, for meetings where access is not restricted, the delegates will receive a link to the online meeting room and will be able to log in as guests entering the name and organization they represent (for example: Chelsea Mori - ITU).

​During a meeting with managed remote participation, two main people from the RP team are familiar with the goals and procedures of the meeting: the RP Coordinator and the RP Moderator.
