Introduction
At the kind invitation of the Secretary of Communication, Argentina, the ITU will be organizing a workshop on "Monitoring and Benchmarking of Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) of Multimedia services in Mobile Networks." This event will take place at the Hotel Panamericano in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 24 to 25 July 2014.
Objectives
This workshop will provide an excellent platform to discuss and exchange information on Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) in terms of standardization, experiences of some countries, theory of QoS provision, etc. The technology areas to be covered include multimedia services, mobile networks and core/backbone networks.
Target Audience
Among the targeted audience will be a range of experts from service providers, vendors, academy (universities) and regulators from countries around the world, especially from Argentina and Latin American region.
