                   3.5.4.2  Analysis and interpretation of the survey for EEE managers

                   Nine managers responded to the survey, the same ones who participated in the workshop.
                   Figure 21 shows that eight out of the nine managers are located within the GAM and have only
                   one work centre. Figure 29 shows the general information obtained from managers through
                   the survey.

                   –    Managers not only work with WEEE, but they also manage ordinary waste such as paper
                        and cardboard, plastics, metals, aluminium and glass.
                   –    Only one of them belongs to a recovery operator’s chamber (association).
                   –    It is assumed that managers know enough about the activity they carry out; however, not
                        all managers know what WEEE is or which WEEE materials require special treatment. Lack
                        of sufficient knowledge is also observed when they declare themselves unaware of who
