ITU Workshop on Human Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs)

Measurement concerns related to human exposure to electromagnetic fields

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) together with the Ministry for Economic Development of Italy organized a workshop on Human Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs). The workshop was held on 9 May 2013 in Turin, Italy.
 
The objectives of this workshop were to respond to WTSA-12 Resolution 72 “Measurement concerns related to human exposure to electromagnetic fields”, to provide an overview of EMF issues to policy makers and other stakeholders and to identify a few actions for consideration of Working Party 2 of the ITU-T Study Group 5.
 
The workshop brought together leading specialists in the field, from top policy-makers to engineers, designers, planners, government officials, regulators, standards experts and others.
