The WTSA venue, Bharat Mandapam, exemplifies eco-friendly design, incorporating energy-efficient lighting, natural ventilation, rainwater harvesting systems and energy from renewable sources. Its design integrates sustainable design and building principles to ensure a lower carbon footprint; and it makes use of recycled content and locally sourced materials to ensure sustainability as far as possible.  

Turn off room lights, air conditioning and ICT equipment when not in use; enable energy-saving features in both conference and hotel rooms.
