About NOW4WTSA24

NOW4WTSA24 encouraged ITU Member States to embrace gender inclusivity at WTSA-24. The call to action was to:

Nominate women for key ITU-T leadership positions: (Chairs, Vice Chairs of TSAG, Study Groups, and Standardization Committee for Vocabulary).

Encourage the appointment of women as Heads of Delegations.

Promote the active participation of women in country delegations.

Support achieving 35% overall female participation at WTSA-24.

NoW activities included trainings and networking events aimed at supporting and celebrating experts and entities contributing to the empowerment of women in ICT and standardization.
