ABOUT ITU-D STUDY GROUPS

ITU-D Study Groups provide an opportunity for the membership to share experiences, present ideas, exchange views, and achieve consensus on appropriate strategies to address telecommunication/ICT priorities. The Study Groups examine specific topics of importance to developing countries to support them achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), targets and their specific development priorities.

HIGHLIGHTS

Heads up: The first meeting of the eighth study period for ITU-D Study Groups will be held from 28 November 2022 to 9 December 2022 in Geneva. A circular letter on candidates for rapporteurs and vice-rapporteurs for study Questions has been issued to all ITU-D Members. The regularly updated list of candidates is available here.

Liaison Statements and any other documents received, between October 2021 and end of June 2022, for processing and discussion at the level of ITU-D Study Groups, are temporarily posted in a restricted directory access for ITU-D members. (Details in News section)
