This Recommendation describes the use cases, requirements and capabilities of unmanned aircraft systems (UASs) for the Internet of things (IoT).
According to different wireless communication scenarios, the use cases are classified in four categories: UAS-aided offloading, UAS-aided emergency response, UAS-aided relaying and UAS-aided information dissemination and data collection.
Common and specific requirements and capabilities of UASs for IoT support of the different use cases are described in this Recommendation.
