Summary:
|
Extended reality (including virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality) is an important frontier direction of the new generation of information technology and a major forward-looking field of the digital economy. Extended reality terminal is considered to be the entrance to the next generation of universal technology platforms and the Internet.
With the continuous development of technology, extended reality terminal is also constantly improved and optimized. Some extended reality terminal can already support high-definition image quality, low latency, wireless connection and other functions, improving portability and comfort. At the same time, extended reality terminal is also constantly reducing costs, allowing more people to enjoy the convenience and fun brought by this technology. However, the user experience of extended reality terminal still does not meet the requirements of consumer users, and the corresponding extended reality terminal testing technology is still in the initial stage of development. In order to strengthen the research and exchange of extended reality testing technology and accelerate the development and standardization of extended reality industry process, this recommendation focuses on extended reality terminal, organizes key testing indicators around its related core technologies and establishes a terminal quality evaluation framework.
