Costa Rica
In environmental management and participatory building processes, it is of utmost importance
that those involved know the process implemented to collect information. They should be
informed about the use of the information gathered and the level of confidentiality. It is also
essential to make them aware of their role in the process and the importance of the information
they can provide.
For this reason, the workshop Informative Session: Implementation project of ITU Standards
on WEEE and Circular Economy in Costa Rica was held to present the project and the surveys
of stakeholders. The target audience was the 32 importers and 32 managers selected. The
workshop objectives were the following:
– Introduce the UNIDO-GEF Framework Project and the ITU-T project: Costa Rica Case
Study.
– Present the methodology developed in the ITU-T project, and highlight the importance
of the data to collect with data gathering tools.
– Present both surveys for managers and importers.
