Media registration is open for the Global Standards Symposium (GSS-24) and World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-24).
Convened by ITU, the United Nations Agency for Digital Technologies, the technology conferences will take place from 14 to 24 October at the Pragati Maidan Conference and Exhibition Centre in New Delhi, India.
GSS-24 (14 October) is a forum for discussion and coordination on technological innovation. A high-level segment with ministers and industry executives will deliberate on digital transformation and standardization efforts to ensure a sustainable digital future for all. GSS will also feature the inaugural session of an
International AI Standards Summit aimed at ensuring comprehensive standards for the fast-evolving AI landscape. The new summit is co-organized by the leading developers of international standards, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). WTSA-24 (15-24 October) brings together policy-makers and industry leaders to consider priorities for international standards to support tech industry growth, innovation, and trust. Please note that media accreditation to GSS-24/WTSA-24 is available to working members of the media with reporting responsibilities. Please review ITU guidelines to ensure that you qualify for media accreditation before registering for the event. A single media badge will be issued to journalists for GSS-24, WTSA-24 and side events. All reporters will be required to present a valid national photo ID when picking up their event badge on-site.
