The ITU Journal:
ICT Discoveries is a scholarly, professional, peer-reviewed, digital, free of charge publication for both readers and authors, published by the International Telecommunication Union.
Aim and content: The ITU Journal: ICT Discoveries publishes original research on ICT technical developments and their policy and regulatory, economic, social and legal dimensions. It builds bridges between disciplines, connects theory with application, and stimulates international dialogue. This interdisciplinary approach reflects ITU’s comprehensive field of interest and explores the convergence of ICT with other disciplines. It also features review articles, best practice implementation tutorials and case studies. The ITU Journal welcomes submissions at any time, on any topic within its scope.

NOTE: To facilitate the approval of articles and ensure proper coordination among the on-going studies/publications of ITU-R Study Groups, authors are advised to avoid topics of a technical nature that directly relate to the agenda of the next World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-23). Articles on such topics might remain unpublished or kept on hold until the publication of a related special issue.
Peer review process: All papers submitted to the ITU Journal are single blind peer reviewed. For detailed information please read the

Publication: As soon as they get accepted, papers will be continuously published on the ITU website. They will then be bundled into a yearly volume. Papers are
free of charge for both readers and authors.

Special issues: These are collections of articles that focus on specific emerging topics. Special issues are produced in collaboration with Guest Editors, who are leading experts in the topic under investigation.
