The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the World Health Organization (WHO) organized with the University of Helsinki a workshop on “AI for Health" at the Institute of Molecular Medicine of the University of Helsinki, Finland, on
19 September 2022 from
13h00 to 18h00 EEST (UTC+3).
This workshop was in a series of workshops linked to the ITU/WHO
Focus Group on Artificial Intelligence for Health (FG-AI4H). The aim of these workshops was to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, practitioners, entrepreneurs and policy makers to discuss standardization opportunities for the assessment of AI for health solutions and to identify use cases and data required for the evaluation and validation with open benchmarks. The workshop was followed by the
sixteenth meeting of the
ITU-T FG-AI4H from
20 to 22 September 2022, at the same venue. The workshop and meeting were held in English only.
Target Audience
Participation in the workshop and the Focus Group meeting was free of charge and open to any individual from one of the 193 countries that are a member of ITU (incl. all Scandinavian and Baltic countries and many more; see
member states list)
