ITU Forum on “Human Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields in India"

Introduction
ITU together with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Law and Justice of India is organizing a Forum on "Human Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields in India", preceded by the "Ninth Symposium on ICTs, the Environment and Climate Change". Both events will take place on 15 December 2014. 
Please be informed that the following events will take place in conjunction with the Forum and the Symposium:     

Objectives
The objectives of this forum were to respond to WTSA-12 Resolution 72 "Measurement concerns related to human exposure to electromagnetic fields", to provide an overview of EMF issues to policy makers and other stakeholders with a special focus on India and to identify a few actions for consideration of Working Party 2 of the ITU-T Study Group 5.

Target audience
The forum brought together leading specialists in the field, from top policy-makers to engineers, designers, planners, government officials, regulators, standards experts and others.
