ITU Workshop on “Evolution of Optical Networks for IMT2030 and Beyond"

 The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) organized the ITU Workshop on “Evolution of Optical Networks for IMT2030 and Beyond" in the afternoon of,
 20 November 2024, 15h00-18h00. This workshop was held in conjunction with the ITU-T SG15 interregnum meetings of Q6, Q11 and Q13, held on 18-22 November 2024 at Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP) in Hong Kong, China. This workshop was held at the Charles K. Kao Auditorium of HKSTP. ITU-T SG15 was responsible for transport, access and home networks.

Objectives
The objective of the workshop was to promote ITU-T work to engage more with the industry and our global society.

Target Audience
Participation in the workshop was open to ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates and Academic Institutions and to any individual from a country that is a member of ITU who wishes to contribute to the work. This includes engineers in the greater China area, as well as individuals who are also members of international, regional and national organizations. Participation in the workshop was​​ free of charge.​
