11:45 - 13:00 | Session 2: Future Integrated Broadcasting and Broadband [IBB] IBB represents a means of integrating broadcast and broadband services, leading a seamless integration between the two. Currently, video-on-demand and time-shifted viewing represents the central application, but this is likely to be extended in the future. We also note that increasingly sophisticated TV sets, and content provider requirements for greater integration between broadcast and broadband services, lead to greater demand for integrating delivery. This session will explore some experiences with a view on the European case.

16:45 - 18:30 | Session 4: Standardization, Future Spectrum Usage and Development issues This session will analyse broadcasting and content delivery from different viewpoints. The challenges related to the broadcasting spectrum management will be presented especially in view of the ITU World Radiocommunication Conference in 2023 (WRC-23) as well as the promises of 5G for broadcasting and security challenges for content delivery will be discussed and future regional and international standardization in this field will be presented. The roadmap for the standards used in Europe (DTT) will be discussed as well.
