Agreement with the Republic of Korea to advance green digital action towards a net-zero digital sector in the Philippines and Tanzania

BDT Director signed a project 'Advancing Green Digital Action Towards a Net-Zero Digital Sector in the Philippines and Tanzania' with the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) of the Republic of Korea.

The project aims to develop a harmonized approach to data collection in both countries, alongside digital net-zero transition plans for ICT-sector decarbonization, based on reliable data and stakeholder input. The two-year project, running until the end of 2026, will focus on building capacity among ICT regulators and stakeholders in both beneficiary countries, aiming to enhance their skills in data collection, regulation, and target-setting.
