Belgrade Women's Cyber Forum 2019 was held on 19 September 2019 in Belgrade, Serbia. This Forum was co-organized by ITU, together with the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of Republic of Serbia, IEC, OSCE, Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Serbia, Energy Pact, and coordinated by Women's Cyber Forum.
It was held within the framework of the ITU Regional Initiative for Europe on Enhancing Trust and Confidence in the use of ICTs and the ITU Regional Initiative on Accessibility, affordability and skills development for all to ensure digital inclusion and sustainable development adopted by the World Telecommunication Development Conference 2017 (WTDC-17), Buenos Aires. ,
This conference built awareness and promoted cybersecurity is conducting a series of one-day seminars focused on information sharing, networking and mentoring for women professionals seeking opportunities in cybersecurity. Meeting served as a platform for information sharing, networking, mentoring and to raise awareness about the importance of cyber security as a career choice for young women in particular.
