Summary: The rapid development of smart grids and the increasing deployment of IoT devices have resulted in a significant increase in electricity data generation (including consumption data, generation data, grid status data, etc.), which is collected and transmitted by IoT devices such as smart meters, sensors, and smart appliances. Efficient utilization of electricity data can lead to substantial benefits such as optimizing grid operations, enhancing energy efficiency, regulatory compliance and reporting, infrastructure planning and investment and improving customer services. However, the collection, storage, and sharing of electricity data pose significant challenges, particularly in terms of privacy and security. This draft new Recommendation introduces the framework, requirements and use cases of electricity data sharing system, and aims to establish a robust system for the secure and privacy-preserving sharing of electricity data. This framework leverages advanced techniques to ensure that data privacy is maintained throughout the data lifecycle, from collection to processing and sharing.
