Summary:
|
Vehicles in the transportation are equipped with a various IoT devices, which can be defined as things based on agent like software in terms of IoT. These IoT devices collect and generate various types of IoT data related to IoT-based smart city services in real time. In addition, the things in the transportation can be interworked with external IoT services to provide new intelligent IoT services by fusing them with the collected or generated IoT data. Therefore, the interworking of IoT data between things in the transportation and intelligent IoT services in the smart city can facilitate the development of various intelligent IoT convergence services. In particular, the smart city is equipped with an infrastructure that enables things to send and receive IoT data to and from various things in the smart city through V2X (Vehicle to Everything) communication. Therefore, it is possible to deliver and exchange data between things in the transportation, and to configure new intelligent IoT convergence services through data fusion between them. To this end, this draft Recommendation introduces the concept of interworking with agent-based transportation for intelligent IoT services and the requirements needed to configure intelligent IoT convergence services through it. And this draft Recommendation also describes the functional architecture, functional components, and interactions between them.
