Summary:
|
Video processing components are used for rear-view cameras, driving recorders, and so on. Taking the rear-view camera as an example, video processing components can remove water droplets and stains from the video, allowing drivers to reverse more comfortably and confidently.
Video processing modules typically contain multiple video processing components, and the video stream output by video processing modules is the result of combined processing by these components. Additionally, each video processing component affects the output of the video processing modules, which in turn influences the output of downstream task modules.
To better identify the performance bottlenecks in video processing and downstream task modules, optimize them, and improve customer experience more effectively, we need to assess the video processing components rather than video processing modules themselves. However, there is no such assessment framework for in-vehicle video processing components. This Recommendation aims to solve these problems.
The Recommendation describe a framework for the assessment of in-vehicle video processing components for video processing modules and downstream tasks modules in CAV systems and their compatibility across various hardware platforms.
