Summary:
|
Driven by the global carbon neutrality goal, carbon footprint has become one of the most important indicators of a product's environmental performance. This proposal studies the carbon footprint of 5G key equipment and establishes its carbon footprint assessment model and assessment system. This will provide a basis for the carbon emission management of future 5G networks and meet the needs of sustainable development.
This proposal will be based on the calculation method of LCA proposed in Recommendation ITU-T L.1410, and for the carbon data in the use stage of 5G base station equipment, the actual energy consumption data will be used for modelling and calculating the carbon emissions during the operation of the equipment, so as to obtain more accurate carbon data and establish its complete carbon footprint assessment system. Therefore, this proposal will effectively supplement the content of Recommendation ITU-T L.1410.
