Today at PP-18, elections have started for ITU’s top executives. ITU elects the first woman and other top experts to lead the UN agency for technology. The election results can be found here.

ITU Member States have re-elected Houlin Zhao of China as ITU Secretary-General and they have re-elected Malcolm Johnson as ITU Deputy Secretary-General during the Union’s 20th Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-18) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. View the photos from the election on Flickr.
