Abstract :

The purpose of this proposal is to alert the Council on the need for action in salvaging the
implementation of projects under the Regional Initiatives (RIs) adopted at the World
Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-22). With a lack of financial resources
allocated to the RIs, the objectives are at risk of not being realized within the given timeframe.
