As the foundation of digital construction, data centres serve as an important carrier of new-generation information and communication technologies such as 5G, internet, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and blockchain, etc. There is a lack of recommendations to comprehensively evaluate the environmental impact of data centres and manage the metrics. Therefore, it is necessary to research on the environmental metrics and management guide of data centres to further promote the green development of data centres under the carbon neutral goals.
