This document defines an ultra high-definition interface that can transmit full-specification 8K video signals, which have about 100 times the data volume of HD video over a single cable. This specification called U-SDI is one of the recommended means to transmit UHD signal between devices, as described in 7.1.1.3.1 and 7.1.1.3.2 of F.Med-UHF.
