ITU-T G. 8275.2/Y.1369.2建议书中包含采用网络部分计时支撑的、用于相位/时间分布的精确时间协议（PTP）标准文件。建议书提供了按照ITU-T G.8275/Y.1369所述架构使用IEEE 1588必不可少的细节。本版建议书定义了针对单播模式的PTP标准。未来版本的建议书可能包含针对混合单播/组播情况的独立标准。
