Les anciennes installations en intérieur conçues pour la transmission vocale sont à l'origine de dérangements intermittents et de dégradations de la qualité de fonctionnement, en termes de débit, lorsqu'elles sont utilisées pour les applications large bande. Très souvent, les anciens câblages ne sont pas adaptés aux besoins actuels. Le câblage structuré est une solution qui permet d'assurer une transmission large bande fiable et de prendre en charge la diversité croissante de services d'information et de communication, par exemple l'Internet à super-haut débit, les visiocommunications, la téléphonie utilisant le protocole Internet (VoIP), la vidéo à la demande (VoD), la télévision utilisant le protocole Internet (TVIP), la sécurité, la télémesure, etc. Les architectures générales de câblage des locaux d'abonné et des bâtiments résidentiels sont présentées. Les paramètres électriques et exigences applicables font l'objet de la norme ISO/CEI 11801 et de la Recommandation UIT-T L.75. La Recommandation UIT-T L.76 a pour objet: – de présenter les architectures générales des réseaux en intérieur; – de recommander le câblage structuré comme solution pour la mise en place de réseaux en intérieur; et – de définir les exigences relatives aux réseaux en cuivre en intérieur. |
