Gestión de catástrofes para mejorar la resistencia y recuperación de redes con unidades desplegables de recursos de tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) |
En la Recomendación UIT-T L.392 se presenta un método para aumentar la resiliencia de la red contra las catástrofes y para contribuir a su recuperación después de los mismos mediante la movilización física de unidades e instalaciones que comprenden recursos portátiles de despliegue inmediato de tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC). Las unidades de recursos TIC portátiles y desplegables (MDRU) son una serie de recursos de TIC reunidos en una unidad física identificable, transportable según diversas modalidades, que sirven de sustituto (reemplazante) de las instalaciones de red dañadas y reproducen y amplían sus funcionalidades. Las MDRU también aportan recursos de TIC adicionales para colmar el drástico aumento de la demanda de comunicación que cabe prever en las zonas afectadas por una catástrofe. En lo que respecta a la utilización de las unidades como sustituto de los nodos locales, en la Recomendación se examinan los objetivos de la gestión de catástrofes y se definen requisitos de alto nivel en forma de directrices para el funcionamiento y las instalaciones. A fin de acortar su tiempo de despliegue, que es el principal objetivo de la recuperación de la red mediante un sustituto, en esta Recomendación se muestra cómo optimizar el proceso iniciado con la preparación del equipo como actividad habitual a fin de ofrecer el servicio en el lugar afectado por la catástrofe. |
