CIS3: Creating an enabling legal and regulatory environment to accelerate digital transformation
Support was provided to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan on updating country profiles in the ITU Data Hub and ICT Regulatory Tracker. Members advanced their knowledge on ICT data collection, analysis and use through training sessions held during the regional forum on digital transformation for the CIS Region.
As part of the GovStack initiative, a Regional Cooperation on Digital Government for Central Asia and Caucasus Countries was launched with the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The cooperation will serve as a mechanism for governments, institutions, and other regional stakeholders to exchange knowledge and work together to achieve sustainable digital transformation.
Training sessions for students and teachers were organized at the Armenian State University of Economics, at the Kostanay Engineering and Economic University in Kazakhstan, and at the St. Petersburg University of Telecommunications in Russia with the participation of over 100 students and 95 teachers to enhance their skills on start-up creation and development.
