The Expert Network
The second meeting of the Digital Innovation Board of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance for Digital Development, held during the Forum, endorsed the establishment of an Expert Network. This collaborative community will conduct foresight studies around trends, research readiness, open technology innovation, entrepreneurship and SME growth, policy experimentation, and ecosystem initiatives acceleration.
The purpose of the Expert Network is to act as a vehicle to implement the decisions of the Digital Innovation Board through brainstorming and research. The group will contribute to enhancing the Alliance’s overall impact, sustainability and innovation capital.
The key objectives of the Expert Network are to:
- Conduct brainstorming and research to operationalize decisions of the Digital Innovation board.
- Research strategies and frameworks to enhance collaboration, knowledge creation and sharing.
- Support the development and peer review of frameworks, processes and guidelines.
- Organize and facilitate workshops to share and gather knowledge and experience from the broader expert community and stakeholders.
- Promote the Alliance’s work and advocate for achieving its strategic objectives.
