Hear from the ATCs: “How does being part of ITU’s ATC Network help you deliver impactful capacity development?”
Hear from the representatives from ITU’s flagship Academy Training Centre (ATC) programme! The Centres gathered in Geneva in October 2023 for the first-ever ATC Global Annual Meeting.
Launched in January 2023, 14 Centres were selected to support ITU’s development priorities by strengthening capacity development and boosting technical ICT skills and proficiency, particularly in developing countries, thereby addressing the digital skills gap.
Through interactive and hands-on plenary sessions, presentations and small group discussions, participants gained valuable insights and practical strategies to boost the quality of the training courses at the ITU Academy, as well as exchange methodology and deliver best practices for an optimal learning experience in online instructor-led courses.
Participants also had an opportunity to map concrete steps and commitments to drive future improvements, network for possible joint activities, explore avenues for innovation in curriculum development and enhance the effectiveness of their work.
By mapping future improvements and fostering innovation, the ATC network is poised to make a significant impact in narrowing the digital divide and empowering ICT professionals worldwide.
We asked the participants, “how does being part of ITU’s ATC Network help you deliver impactful capacity development?”
