Use Cases and Requirements for the Vehicular Multimedia Networks

This document describes vehicle multimedia networks, (VMS) taking into account the autonomous levels defined by [SAE J3016] and used in conjunction with advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), automatic driving technologies, maps, voice commands or natural language processing. A number of relevant topics are discussed here, including – but not limited to – connectivity, intelligent human machine interfaces for VMS, privacy considerations, safety and security, content rights protection in a converged network environment, copyright and rights management support for content delivery.
