2020 UN Activities on Artificial Intelligence

At a time when the coronavirus crisis is disrupting progress toward the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the projects being developed by the UN Agencies serve as a reminder that AI and other digital technologies can reverse this trend and accelerate progress in areas as fundamental to our future as climate change, poverty, energy, education, biodiversity, and health. It also makes clear that UN agencies will not rest until everyone, everywhere is connected and can benefit from these technologies.
