Follow high-level sessions at GSR-23
The Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR-23) closing ceremony will be livestreamed from Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, starting at 12:00 EEST (11:00 CEST) on Thursday, 8 June.
GSR-23 started Tuesday with opening remarks by:
- H.E. Dr Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Arab Republic of Egypt
- Doreen Bogdan-Martin, Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)
- Eng. Hossam El Gamal, GSR-23 Chair and Executive President of Egypt’s National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA)
- Dr Cosmas Luckyson Zavazava, Director of ITU’s Telecommunication Development Bureau
The opening ceremony was followed by the GSR-23 Leadership Segment, with ministers, regulators and industry leaders addressing the question: How can policy and regulatory innovation drive universal and meaningful connectivity and sustainable digital transformation?
