Las Comisiones de Estudio del UIT-D ofrecen a todos los Miembros de la UIT la oportunidad de compartir experiencias, exponer ideas, intercambiar puntos de vista y llegar a consensos sobre las estrategias adecuadas para abordar las prioridades de las TIC. Las Comisiones de Estudio examinan temas específicos de importancia para los países en desarrollo con el fin de ayudarles a alcanzar los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de las Naciones Unidas, las metas y sus prioridades específicas de desarrollo..
