Radio Regulations
The Radio Regulations contains the complete texts as adopted by the World Radiocommunication Conference (Geneva, 1995) (WRC-95) and subsequently revised and adopted by World Radiocommunication Conferences, including all Appendices, Resolutions, Recommendations and ITU-R Recommendations incorporated by reference.

The Radio Regulations, Edition of 2024, contains the complete texts of the Radio Regulations adopted by the World Radiocommunication Conference of 1995 (WRC-95) and reviewed by the subsequent World Radiocommunication Conferences: WRC-97 (Geneva, 1997), WRC-2000 (Istanbul, 2000), WRC-03 (Geneva, 2003), WRC-07 (Geneva, 2007), WRC-12 (Geneva, 2012), WRC-15 (Geneva, 2015), WRC-19 (Sharm el-Sheik, 2019) and WRC-23 (Dubai, 2023).

As per a 2013 Council decision, the pdf versions, not qualifying as carriage requirements, are now posted free of charge for personal use.

Proceedings of the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly

The Manual for Use by the Maritime Mobile and Maritime Mobile-Satellite Services is published in accordance with Article 20 (No. 20.14) of the Radio Regulations and results from studies carried out in the ITU-R since 2008. Volume 1 provides descriptive text of the organization and operation of the GMDSS and other maritime operational procedures, while Volume 2 contains the extracts of the regulatory texts associated with maritime operations.

2024 edition now available in CD-ROM, USB, digital or paper formats. Multi-lingual CD-ROMs and USBs include the ITU hologram on the back cover of the CD/USB jacket. Each purchased copy should be registered by the end-user by scanning the QR code on the jacket's back cover.

List IV contains important information for the mariner in relation to radiocommunications, including the GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System). Detailed information such as the frequencies for transmitting and receiving, in addition to geographical coordinates, is provided for maritime coast radio stations, including those assuming watch-keeping using digital selective calling (DSC) techniques and radiotelephony. List IV also supplies details of additional services such as medical advice, navigational and meteorological warnings, MSI (Maritime Safety Information), AIS (Automatic Identification System), meteorological bulletins and radio time signals, along with the hours of service and operational frequencies, information on port stations, pilot stations, coast Earth stations, VTS stations, contact information of RCC (Rescue Coordination Centers), SAR agencies, Navarea coordinators and AtoNs (AIS Aids to Navigation).

As stipulated in Appendix 16 to the RR, this List shall be provided to all ship stations for which a Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) installation is required by international agreement.

The 2023 edition is available for purchase. Note: List IV exists in CD format only. Vessels should register their official CD by scanning their unique QR code. Next edition: 4th Quarter 2025.

BR Space Services WIC/IFIC - Annual Collection
2021   Publication Notice with Order Form

The collection of BR WICs (Weekly Information Circulars) and BR IFICs (International Frequency Information Circulars) for Space Services contains Parts and Special Section publications with information on the frequency assignments for space stations, Earth stations or radioastronomy stations submitted to the Radiocommunication Bureau by ITU Member State administrations. The collection is distributed on multiple DVD-ROMs and contains archived BR WICs compiled by time series (1965-1995) and from 1996 by year (1996-1999), and archived BR IFICs (from 2000 onwards) by year.
