3.6.1.4 Coarse and fine fractions recovery
To generate a complete material balance, with their respective flows, managers were
consulted on the processes they carry out with coarse fractions (recovered parts) and fine
fractions (metals and other significant materials recovered) of WEEE. This section of the survey
provided quantitative information on the WEEE coarse fractions quantities processed and
their destination, as well as qualitative information on the management and destination of fine
fractions of metals and significant materials.
