                   e-waste recyclers”. These Recommendations are based on methodologies supported by data
                   and analysis that drive progressivity to reach actors, services, and recyclable material, as well
                   as the appropriate final disposal of WEEE.

                   This Case Study will provide basic information obtained by the methodologies described in ITU-T
                   Recommendations that will enable the development of strategies for the WEEE sector to move
                   towards the implementation of a circular economy model. It will also allow the establishment of
                   strategies to raise awareness among the stakeholders involved in the WEEE value chain. This
                   will strengthen the country’s management system for this type of waste. At the same time, it
                   represents an opportunity to work out indicators on the WEEE management in line with SDG
                   12 targets. Finally, it will result in the fulfilment of what was agreed in the Paris Agreement and
                   Goal 3, Sustainability, of the ITU Connect 2030 Agenda.
