TALK
T-Mobile US had the worst spectrum position, limited cash and didn't even carry the iPhone in the early 2010s. Its future was bleak. Today, a decade-plus later, T-Mobile US has a thriving business centered around North America's first standalone 5G network. Ulf Ewaldsson, President of Technology at T-Mobile, shared how the Magenta-clad provider married its marketing approach - deemed the Un-carrier - with 5G network innovations. These innovations have set the company up to deliver upon aggressive targets, including new lines of business like FWA and network slicing, among others.
