Rob Dawson CTO ConsenSys Rob Dawson is the CTO of ConsenSys, a market-leading blockchain technology company. Rob led the development of the Hyperledger Besu ethereum client, the leading Ethereum client supporting both enterprise and the ethereum mainnet. In his role as CTO at ConsenSys, Rob is helping build the tools for next-generation networks and enabling enterprises to launch a more powerful financial infrastructure.
Wei Kai ITU-T Study Group 16 Q22 Rapporteur Secretary/ General of TBI, CAICT Mr. Wei Kai is Chairman of ITU-T Focus Group on Application of Distributed Ledger Technology(FG DLT). He is the Vice Director of Cloud and Big Data Institute, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology(CAICT). He leads a research group in CAICT working on big data and blockchain technology, consulting, standardization, testing and certification. His team proposed the Trusted Blockchain framework, which is a framework for Blockchain and DLT platform assessment. He is the founder and the Secretary General of Trusted Blockchain Initiatives(TBI), a cooperation network of 300 blockchain commpanies from China and abroad. He was the core drafting group of several Chinese national industrial policy and standards in ICT area in the past years. Wei Kai is also the Rapporteur of Question 22 under ITU-T Study Group 16.
Peter Somogyvari Technology Architect, Accenture, Hyperledger Cactus Maintainer Peter is a software engineer/architect with a BS. in computer science who has a longtime, deep interest in distributed ledger technologies, artificial intelligence and fin-tech. A thought leader in the open source software community and the author of a successful project related to the Internet of Things (Bluetooth Low Energy).
Gilbert Verdian CEO & Founder, Quant Network Gilbert Verdian is the CEO and Founder of blockchain technology company Quant Network. Tasked with connecting the world’s networks to blockchain, Gilbert is building the Internet of Trust by converging blockchain and cybersecurity. He is responsible for having solved interoperability in blockchain through the creation of the world’s first blockchain operating system, Overledger. With over 20 years of Cybersecurity experience and C-level accountability as a CISO, CIO and CTO working across Government in Downing St, HM Treasury, Cabinet Office, Ministry of Justice and NSW Health and private sector at Mastercard, Vocalink, CSC, EY, PwC, BP and HSBC. Having a keen interest in disruptive technology, Gilbert established the Blockchain ISO Standard TC307 initiative in 2015 and is the Chair of the UK’s national committee on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger technologies (DLT/1) as well as the Interoperability working group SG7 for ISO. He also sits on committees in the Federal Reserve, the EU’s Blockchain Observatory, PayUK and UK Government’s DLT committees.
