Procedure for applying for a visa for the ITU workshop on Machine Learning in 5G and beyond on 7 August 2018 and
the ITU-T Focus Group Meeting ML5G, 8-10 August 2018

Citizens of some countries are required to obtain a visa in order to enter and spend any time in the United States. If required, visas must be requested before the date of arrival in the United States​ from the embassy or consulate representing the United States in your country or, if there is no such office in your country, from the one that is closest to the country of departure. Deadlines vary, so it is suggested to check directly with the appropriate representation and apply early.

In order to apply for visa support, please follow these steps:

• Register online for the meeting to obtain the registration ID using: https://1f8a81b9b0707b63-19211.webchannel-proxy.scarabresearch.com/net4/CRM/xreg/web/Registration.aspx?Event=C-00004778. You will immediately receive an automatic response followed by an official confirmation that your request has been validated.
• Complete the form. Please fill out all the fields in the attached document and submit it to the host at grp_donna.frayn@intel.com copying also the ITU ML5G Secretariat (tsbfgml5g@itu.int) no later than 7 July 2018
• The host will then send you a personalized invitation letter which must be submitted along with other supporting documents to your local American embassy. Please check what other information your local embassy may require in order to issue a visa.
