As Deputy Director General at the National Informatics Centre, she has been a key driving force behind the architecture of citizen engagement and service delivery e-governance platforms, including the largest crowdsourcing platform of the Government of India, such as MyGov and the National Portal of India. Additionally, as head of the Open Government Data Platform, India, she leads the creation of a data ecosystem in the country, contributing to India's improved global ranking in data sharing. Ms. Misra also heads the e-Procurement group of the NIC and serves as one of the Board Directors’ of the National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSI). As head of Web Technology at NIC, she is spearheading the Harmonization of Digital Footprint and formulation of Digital Brand Identity Guidelines for the Government. She leads the group for the prestigious project of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, on Immigration, Visa, Foreigners' Registration and Tracking (IVFRT). She actively contributes to the professional technology forums, seminars, and workshops of national and international stature and has authored several articles, chapters, and books.
