Hayder AL-SALIHI

​​​​​​​​​​Hayder AL-SALIHI received the B.Sc. in electronic and communications engineer from the university of Baghdad in 2007, and the M.Sc. degree from university of Portsmouth in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in telecommunications engineering from King’s College London, University of London, UK, in 2018. From 2010 to 2014, he was with the Iraqi ministry of communications as a R&D Engineer worked on various aspects of communications and networking industry. Currently, he joined the Iraqi communications and media commission (CMC) as a head of R&D division, telecom. regulation directorate conducting research and studies on telecommunications regulations. His current research interests include machine learning and artificial intelligence for wireless communications, Massive MIMO, OTFS and RIS. He received the best student paper award at EuCNC 2016 and the travel grant support from EuCNC 2017. He serves as a reviewer for several IEEE, Elsevier, IET, EURASIP journals and serves as a member of technical program committee for several IEEE conferences.  ​
