Bangkok, Thailand, 7-8 March 2013
ITU is organizing an APT-ITU Seminar on outcomes of WTSA-12 and WCIT-12 jointly with the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT). The Seminar will take place in Bangkok, Thailand from 7-8 March 2013.
Objectives:
This Seminar aims to brief participants on Resolutions, Opinions and ITU-T A-series Recommendations approved by the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-2012) and the updated International Telecommunication Regulations (ITRs) and the overall achievements of the World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT-2012) held from 20 to 29 November 2012 and from 3 to 14 December 2012 respectively in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
It will further provide an opportunity to participants to have better understanding of the outcomes from those conferences and to facilitate their implementation.
