Ali is currently a distinguished member of the Saudi Telecom Company focusing on Business/Enterprise Market. Worked also with Alcatel, Lucent, Telcordia, and Norconsult. He’s a recognized information and communication Technology (ICT) expert and technical Advisor with proven track record of significant contribution and achievements. He has a work experience extending to more than 30 Years, spanning from Engineering, Consulting to Management , Business Development, and Market Analysis.
Ali’s core areas of expertise were Next generation Network (NGN), Broadband Networks, Mobile Networks ( 3G, 4G, and 5G), Strategic planning, Enterprise Business solution, B2B Marketing, and Market Analysis. He’s supporting and advising Telcos Management in studying and recommending new Technologies, Services, consulting, and executive coaching in Business strategy, Market Trends, project management, Technology knowledge transfer, and building ties with ICT communities. Ali holds a Bachelor Degree in Telecom Engineering, Master degree in Computer Engineering from King Fahad University for Petroleum and Minerals (Saudi Arabia), and a PhD Degree from Brunel University. He authored/Co-authored several technical papers, and was a keynote speaker, and frequently invited speaker at International Conferences/workshops and Seminars.
Also, Ali was active with ITU organization and helped as a vice chair for the ITU M2M Focus Group (2012-2013), and a Member of IMT2020 Focus Group from 2015- up to date. Also he’s a member of IEEE, Computer Society, Communication Society, the Project Management Institute, and the Saudi Engineering Association.
