of the Department of Telecommunications and Postal Services (DTPS), Republic
of South Africa; the Southern Africa Telecommunications Association
(SATA); and Telkom, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) organized a Workshop on Performance, QoS and QoE for Multimedia Services at the "Pivot Conference Venue, Southern Sun Montecasino" in Fourways, Johannesburg, South Africa, from 24 to 25 July 2017, inclusive.
The workshop was followed by the 34th Meeting of the Quality of Service Development Group (QSDG) on 26 and 27 July (morning), and a Meeting of ITU-T Study Group 12 Regional Group for Africa (SG12RG-AFR) and the associated Bridging the Standardization Gap (BSG) Hands-on Training Session on 27 July (afternoon) and 28 July 2017 (full day).
