Introduction
At the kind invitation of the IIMA IDEA Telecom Centre of Excellence (
IITCOE-www.iitcoe.in), India, ITU is organizing a Workshop on "ICT Innovations in Emerging Economies" on 14 March 2013 at the Habitat World, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, India.
The 5th meeting of the FG Innovation will take place on 13 March 2013, before the workshop, at the same venue and will also be hosted by the IIMA IDEA Telecom Centre of Excellence, India.
Objectives
The objective of the workshop is to showcase the ICT Innovations happening in India and to present the work of the Focus Group Bridging the gap: from innovation to standards, in order to enhance participation from the region in the work of the focus group.
Audience
ITU Member States, FG Innovation members, ICT companies in India, ICT research organizations, ICT service providers, ICT start ups in the region, and academia.
