Mochamad Hadiyana graduated with a bachelor degree in engineering physics from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia, and with a master degree in engineering from School of Engineering, Vanderbilt University, USA. He joined Planning Bureau of the Ministry of Tourism, Post and Telecommunications in 1994. He joined Directorate General of Posts and Telecommunications of the Ministry of Transportation in 1999 and was working on various fields related to standardization and conformity assessment. For the last six years he has been deputy director for quality of service and standardization cooperation in Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. He has also been a vice chairman of ASEAN Telecommunication Regulatory Council MRA Joint Sectoral Committee.
